I have heard about the xlog platform before, so I wanted to see how it works... I don't have a good habit of writing articles, nor do I have any intention of practicing writing articles...
Known points: All user files, images (avatars), and article content are stored on IPFS in JSON format. This means that it is impossible to truly edit or delete the traces left here (until the day IPFS loses the file). They can only be hidden or overwritten by new content on the xlog page. Every operation here will leave a blockchain transaction record, so you need to think carefully about the content before editing to reduce the possibility of a dark history...
It seems that CSB can be claimed daily for various operations. On the first day, I received 0.2 CSB, and after some tinkering, I used 0.003 CSB. It is quite durable, and the number of words in the article does not seem to affect the amount of CSB spent. It is simply "paying according to the amount of operations." The operations of liking and bookmarking (NFT) only leave transaction records without any charges.
It is natural to write the main content of the article in Markdown, and it also supports some other common JavaScript, which can be viewed here.
IPFS is also an old thing, but I always feel that it is not very reliable and I am not sure where it can be used. So this time, I want to try uploading some things on it to see the effect. After thinking for a while, I uploaded a lot of BA's songs and put them in the top bar of another page.
Finally, I want to say that the official instructions are very few, and the online editor is also very simple... I should study how to use the CSS here when I have time... The default simple style is actually quite good 😆
